Group: Base Frame Assembly

Forms the rectangular foundation of the cold frame that rests on the ground.

Create the rectangular base. Connect Tube P17 (1" x 33.13") between the side 1" Female SLIP outlets of P14 (1" 3-Way Connector) and P16 (1" 3-Way Connector). Connect Tube P22 (1" x 33.13") between the side 1" Female SLIP outlets of P23 (1" 3-Way Connector) and P21 (1" 3-Way Connector). Connect Tube P24 (1" x 40.22") between the front/back 1" Female SLIP outlets of P14 and P23. Connect Tube P18 (1" x 40.48") between the front/back 1" Female SLIP outlets of P16 and P21. Ensure the top 1" Female SLIP outlets of P14, P16, P21, P23 face upwards.

Builds the main vertical and top structure (box) of the cold frame.

Build the main box structure. Insert Tube P13 (1" x 25") into the top 1" Female SLIP outlet of P14 (from Base Frame). Insert Tube P19 (1" x 25") into the top 1" Female SLIP outlet of P23 (from Base Frame). Insert Tube P15 (1" x 25.11") into the top 1" Female SLIP outlet of P16 (from Base Frame). Insert Tube P20 (1" x 25.11") into the top 1" Female SLIP outlet of P21 (from Base Frame). Attach P2 (1" 4-Way Connector) to the top of P13. Attach P6 (1" 4-Way Connector) to the top of P19. Connect Tube P7 (1" x 40") between the side 1" Female SLIP outlets of P2 and P6. Attach P11 (1" 3-Way Connector) to the top of P15. Attach P10 (1" 3-Way Connector) to the top of P20. Connect Tube P12 (1" x 40.18") between the side 1" Female SLIP outlets of P11 and P10. Insert Tube P31 (1" x 33.02") connecting the front and back 1" Female SLIP outlets. Attach Tube P34 (1" x 5") to the outer right 1" Female SLIP outlet and cap with P35 (1" Cap). Connect the Left Arch P27 and Right Arch P3 using Tubes P25 (1" x 40.15"), P26 (1" x 40.07"), and P30 (1" x 40.15") between their corresponding side 1" Female SLIP outlets.

Group: Attach Arch and Hinge Mechanisms

Connects the Arch Assembly to the Main Frame and installs the hinge mechanisms allowing the lid to open.

Connect the Arch to the Frame and add hinges. Attach Bushing P1 (1/2" x 1") into the remaining left 1" Female SLIP outlet of P2 on the Main Frame. Attach Bushing P5 (1/2" x 1") into the remaining right 1" Female SLIP outlet of P6 on the Main Frame. Attach Bushing P4 (1/2" x 1") into the remaining right 1" Female SLIP outlet of P3 on the Arch Assembly. Attach Bushing P28 (1/2" x 1") into the remaining left 1" Female SLIP outlet of P27 on the Arch Assembly. Assemble Left Hinge: Screw P36 (1/2" 90° Elbow) onto the 1/2" Male Thread of P1. Screw P37 (1/2" 90° Elbow) onto the 1/2" Male Thread of P28. Connect P38 (1/2" Nipple) between the 1/2" Female Threaded ends of P36 and P37. Assemble Right Hinge: Screw P39 (1/2" 90° Elbow) onto the 1/2" Male Thread of P4. Screw P40 (1/2" 90° Elbow) onto the 1/2" Male Thread of P5. Connect P41 (1/2" Nipple) between the 1/2" Female Threaded ends of P39 and P40.

Attaching: Attach Arch and Hinge Mechanisms

Connects the Arch Assembly to the Main Frame and installs the hinge mechanisms allowing the lid to open.

This step physically links the Arch Assembly (Group 3) to the Main Frame (Group 2) via the bushings (P1, P4, P5, P28) and hinge components (P36, P37, P38, P39, P40, P41). The Arch Assembly should now pivot on the Main Frame.
